Revival Gospel Ministries.

Revival Gospel Ministry is a non-profit Chaitable Trust

These are the last days. We need a revival. We need a great awakening in our church. We need to pray that the Lord my stir the hearts.  With this motive our ministry is founded. It is founded upon the solid Rock. We work with the confidence that God will bring about great revival in our country. This ministry is focused on prayer. When Jesus was walking on this earth He commanded His disciples to pray unceasingly. Prayer is the source of our life. Our Church is run by the confidence that our God is a prayer answering God. I praise and thank God that our believers are persistent in prayer. Our vision is to shed the light of the Gospel through our Good works according to Matthew 5:16. Jesus said, " Let your light so shine upon men that they may see your good works any glorify your Father in heaven" We are called to be the children of light. God wants us to be the bearer of the light. Millions walk in darkness. What is expected of us? We are called to reflect Jesus by our good works. Revival Gospel Ministries is willing to do great service for those who are in need. Our God is a prayer answering God. God does hear our prayer! We are told by James that," the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16) Blessings and more blessings keep coming our way. Keep praying for our ministry. Uplift our ministry with prayer. Extend your right hand of fellowship by making an offering for our ministry. Sure you will reap a great harvest of souls. Pastor's Note

Pastor's Note

I am Pr. Sivananda Krishnan alis Jebaraj., Revival Gospel Ministries.  I was born in Koilpatti, Tamil Nadu. My father had 4 children. I am the only son to my parents. My father was a Tailor. We were born Hindus. I passed H.Sc as a part-time student when I was working as a clerk in magistrate Court. I was longing for the spiritual blessings. God anointed me with the Holy Spirit. I received the call from God to be used by Him as a full-time evangelist. I was attending an A.G. Church in my home town. I happened to meet sister who had circle of believers who gather in a small house. We worship God from there.  We registered it as a trust. Our motto is “Bringing people from Darkness to light” God was good to me all through my life. I have been serving in this churchsince 2006. God was faithful to His word. Not a world failed. To God is the glory!

Founder's Testimony

Founder's Testimony

I was born in a Hindu family in Tuticorin District in Tamil Nadu, India. As I hailed from Hindu family I was brought up in Hindu Mythology and tradition. I was married at the age of 14 years to a person who was 44 years of age. My entire family was worshiping Pathirakali Amman who was believed to be the Hindu goddesses of revenge.

Being a true devotee of Bangaru Adigalar I was serving as an usher in Athiparasakthi Ashramam (Home for the devotees) at Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu. I never skipped a day without doing poojas and chanting mantras several times a day to get things done by Pathirakali Amman.

I got two lovely children by the names of Maharahan and Maareeswari. Things took on different turn as my son fell down sick with malfunction of kidney at the age of two. The doctors gave up on my son. He died an early death at the age of two. This left me in great torment. . All my hopes were in vain. My future looms dark before me. I could not extricate myself from the mental agony. I sunk in great sorrow. I renounced myself by skipping meals. I passed many sleepless nights. I never bathed or brushed for six months.

A Christian lady came to my door steps. She handed me a New Testament and a few tracts. As I hated Christians I never encouraged her to enter my house. She said “Why don’t you turn to Jesus who is able to heal your son.” This invited fury and started hurling words to insult her. I slammed the door in her face and said, “Get lost.” She left the Bible in the door step and never visited again. I kept the Bible safe in my room without reading it. (Verse)

The Spirit of the Lord began to deal with my spirit. He tugged at my heart to pick up the Bible. I was drawn towards the Bible and grabbed it as the Lord inspired me. I turned the soft pages of the Bible. My eyes fell on the verse (Verse) I felt as if my mother could comfort me in my distress. I was encouraged. I had never been the same again. My out-look changed. I began to love the Bible. The Bible became an open book in my home.

God gave me a good job in a Bouquet Company as a supervisor. I worked there for a few months. My love for the Lord was growing. I had a great vision of God concerning my ministry. I heard the voice saying, “I will lead you to a new place where you will raise many children for Me”. He led me step by step into start “Revival Gospel Ministries”. Now we are planting a Church in Gandhi Nagar in Kovilpatti. God has given me many Children and I am growing them in the fear f God. To God be the glory.

Our Vision

We want people to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and we know you do too. We want to see people saved, healed, delivered and set free in Jesus holy name. The fastest and most direct way for this to happen, is for ALL the church to serve God. This website is meant to wake up Christians. People are dieing for what we ALL have--the Gospel of Jesus Christ--the free gift of salvation, healing, deliverance and RELEASE. We are here to simply encourage EVERY Christian to actively and directly serve God and minister in His purposes. We simply ask you to study the word of God in 3 areas, they are: ministry, authority, and the operation of the church from the Bible. We need to study the history of Christianity and find the truth about where the "church" and "ministry" and "authority" have been re-defined for us. There is a glorious church described in the Bible. There is a system of operation and function in the pages of scriptures, which moves in the miraculous and at the same time makes absolute perfect common sense! There is a glorious church in the Bible, and there is a glorious church in ALL OF US--TODAY. We pray that glory will be revealed to you!

Good Works!

Since good works are to be natural in a Christian's life, they really become a routine way of life. The true Christian really performs good works often without even thinking about it. The true Christian rarely thinks, "Say, here is a good work I can do, so maybe I had better do it." No, rather it is just a matter of course performed out of love for one's brethren or fellow man. All the Christian usually needs is an occasional reminder to be prepared and to recognize some situations which are easily missed or aspects easily overlooked. Paul wrote to Titus (3:1-2), "Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men." Should a Christian slip, he mentioned to the pastor Titus in verse, "This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men." He added in verse 14, "And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful." But he not only gave Titus instructions to teach his congregation such things, he first told Titus to be an example. In Titus 2:7-8, he wrote, "In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you."

Paul did not limit this directive about good works just to the elders and evangelists and the men of the congregations, but to everybody. Just to be certain all were included, that good works were not just for the men, he told Timothy (1 Timothy 2:9-10), "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works." He later ( 5: 9-10) said, "Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man, well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have diligently followed every good work." Good works are part of every Christian's life.

In fact, Christians not only do good works naturally, they find happiness and excitement in this endeavor. As Paul wrote to Titus (2:13-14), ". . . looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." And not only do Christians enjoy doing good, they are told to encourage each other in this endeavor. "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works." (Hebrews 10:24)

Another aspect of a Christian's good works is their permanence. In Revelation 14:13 we find, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them." The Christian's good deeds have everlasting effects. Peter gave us another perspective on this when he wrote in 1 Peter 2:11-12, "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation [anastrophee = conduct, way of life] honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation." Yes, the Christian's good works can make more difference than might be expected. One may even be reminded of what Jesus said in the "Sermon on the Mount" (Matthew 6:19-21), "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Many of the people of this world do good works for personal gain, aggrandizement, and pleasure, often trying to get others to feel obligated and later take advantage of that feeling that the person "owes" him something. The Christian does not do that. The Christian gives of himself/herself out of love, expecting nothing in return. If the "reward" for the good work is gained in a physical or material manner, then there is no treasure laid up in heaven. This principle is found in Matthew 6:16-18.

Since all Christians will be prone to good works, and all have been told to be ready and prepared to do them, how is this done? How does one prepare to do good works? Paul gave Timothy the answer in his second letter to the young evangelist (3:16-17) when he wrote, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Through Bible study one not only learns the concepts of love, compassion, mercy, and other godly attributes which encourage good works, but also is shown examples of good works and people who have done them.

Mission Statement

“The greatest miracle that God can do today is to take an unholy man out of an unholy world and make him holy, then put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it.”― Leonard Ravenhill”

We believe that there is only one God, who has created all things for His glory and honor. This one God has manifested Himself to mankind as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit indwelling and inspiring those who place their trust in Him.

We believe that God is love and that sacrificial love was shown to fallen humanity when the Father gave the Son to redeem all who believe on the Son.

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless human life, willingly took upon Himself all of our sins, died and rose again bodily, and is at the right hand of the Father as our advocate and mediator. Some day, He will return to consummate history and to fulfill the eternal plan of God.

We believe that apart from Jesus Christ, all people are spiritually lost and, because of sin, deserve the judgment of God. However, God gives salvation and eternal life to anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and in His sacrifice on his or her behalf. Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort; instead, it is a gift that must be received by humble repentance and faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.

We believe in water baptism as a public profession of a person’s faith in Christ. We believe that according to scripture, this baptism includes complete immersion and is administrated in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that one must be born again to see and to enter the Kingdom of God.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is essential to salvation and convicts the world of sin and draws people to Christ.

We believe that the Bible is God’s unique and written revelation to people. It is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority on all matters upon which it teaches. No other writings are vested with such divine authority.

We believe the Bible teaches that there is both a place called Heaven and Hell. The believer goes eternally to Heaven and the sinner eternally to Hell.

We believe that the church is the mystical body of Christ of which He is the head. The church is also a local congregation of believers who gather on a regular basis to worship, pray, preach, teach, encourage, and to systematically do good. The Church has a responsibility to use its God given gifts to fulfill the great commission of reaching the lost and helping them to grow into mature, devoted followers of Christ.

Village Ministries

We are doing village ministry in our neibouring villages. Our Lord Jesus appeals to God to send labourers for great harvest. There are people who even do not know the love of Jesus. They are still in bondage of sin. Who will point them to Jesus? Once in every month we go as a team to the places where the Gospel is not presented namely:  Kalampatti, Sidamparapatty, Uppattur, Sivagnanapuram, Kalugumalai and Ilyarasanandal. We go about 1) distributing Tracts 2) reaching out to the youth  3) doing personal evangelism 4) meeting people at the door steps 5) conducting special programmes for them. 1. Good News is preached!
'Am I a God near at hand,' says the Lord, 'And not a God afar off?'" (Jeremiah 23:23)
